About me

Hi, I'm Selina.

I’m a late-diagnosed Autistic/ADHD social worker, and a parent to two awesome neurodivergent kids.

I get excited about accumulating and sharing knowledge and experiences that might help people on their own paths to wellbeing. Curiosity, compassion, and clarity are threads I try to weave through my work and life. Everything I do is from a trauma-sensitive and neuro-affirming foundation (because I am living it). That means working with our brains, baggage, and nervous systems, while making space for change and growth.

I use a holistic, systems-based lens, which means I don't just see individuals in isolation but as part of the environments and structures that shape their lives. When we want to deepen self-knowledge and cultivate change, we must also look at our contexts and the interplay between us and our world.

Outside of work, I'm an avid recreational dancer. My favourite boardgame is Dixit. I'm obsessed with my border collie X and kitty. Food is my love language. When I was younger, I was an engineer on oil rigs.

My sensory kryptonites are industrial noise, synthetic fibres, and crowds. My enduring special interests are ballet and working on neurocraft, a space to experiment and reimagine how we might craft a rich and meaningful life for ourselves.
