Dump Club: A space to celebrate the infodump

One day I had the idea to experiment with creating a space that celebrated the neurodivergent infodump as a legitimate form of social connection. Kind of like a super supportive open-mic but without any expectations besides keeping it under 7-minutes. With the help of others, it turned into a regularly monthly online gathering where you could turn up on your own terms, engage as little or as much as you liked, and soak up the collective joy of sharing in people's special interests.
It has gone through various name changes (last one from Soapbox to Dump Club) but the format has largely stayed the same — and it works. A beautiful community grew around it. After a year of hosting, I decided to hand over the reigns to the community, and while I am no longer the host I am still an enthusiastic attendees at these events.
If you would like to check it out, you can join the Discord server where event details are posted. Alternatively, you can join the email list to be sent the details for the next month's meet-up.
